Servicemembers, veterans, and military family members can take advantage of discounts throughout May as businesses and other organizations nationwide celebrate Military Appreciation Month.

 

See below for a list of deals and links. Be sure to click on the link if you’re interested in the deal, as eligibility and proof-of-service requirements may vary. Check back later in the month for more discounts!

 

Note: Businesses in italics have announced these deals as part of Military Appreciation Month, but offer the discount programs year-round.

 

Amusement Parks/Family Outings

Blue Star Museums: Museums, zoos, nature centers, and other partners in the Blue Star Museums program will offer free admission for currently serving members and their families from May 18 through Sept. 2. Find a list of participants, and answers to frequently asked questions, at this link.

 

Cedar Fair Entertainment Company: Servicemembers and veterans can receive a free single-day admission ticket May 24-27, and save 50% on tickets for friends and family when purchasing online. Valid ID required. Participating parks include California's Great America, Cedar Point, Kings Dominion, and more -- click here for a list of parks, then scroll down on each park's website to the "Military Days" section for details.

 

Colonial Williamsburg: Servicemembers and veterans, and up to three "direct dependents," are eligible for a free single-day admission over Memorial Day weekend. Learn more here.

 

Legoland: Multiple parks will offer free entry to servicemembers and veterans, plus a 50% discount for up to four guests, May 1-31. Military ID or pay stub required. Find a park near you at this link, and scroll down to the events section to learn more.

 

United Parks and Resorts: Servicemembers and veterans can qualify for free admission (with up to three guests) at Busch Gardens, SeaWorld, Sesame Place, and other United Parks and Resorts properties nationwide. Click here for details on all the promotions.

Clique Hospitality: Servicemembers and veterans can receive a 15% discount at multiple Las Vegas-area restaurants under Clique Hospitality management – Borracha Mexican Cantina and Bottiglia Cucina & Enoteca at Green Valley Ranch Spa and Casino in Henderson, Nev.; The Still at the Mirage Hotel & Casino; and Tailgate Social at Palace Station Hotel & Casino.
