Kevin Lilley joined MOAA after more than a decade in various roles at Sightline Media Group, publisher of a variety of military- and defense-themed products.
His work there included stints as a copy editor for the entire suite of publications, a news editor at Navy Times, a staff writer at Army Times, and a cross-service editor responsible for pay and benefits content, VA and veterans affairs materials, and features. Lilley also contributed to the After Action sports blog and led coverage of Army-Navy football contests.
Prior to working at Sightline Media, Lilley worked on the news and sports desks at community papers on both coasts. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1998 with a degree in political science and English writing/journalism.
His duties at MOAA include producing, editing, and managing content for a variety of platforms, with a concentration on The MOAA Newsletter and MOAA.org.
He lives in McLean, Va., with his wife and two sons.
