Select Army warrant officers could earn nearly $210,000 in bonus compensation over six years while some naval aviators could pocket $150,000 over three years under pay programs recently announced by the services.

The Army offering, announced July 26, allows warrant officers with 12 to 14 years of active federal service to qualify for a $75,600 bonus for a three-year agreement. Those with more than 18 years of service can qualify for $120,000 for a four-year agreement, $162,300 for five years, or $209,880 over six years.

Naval aviators who’ve met certain screening requirements can earn $37,000 over a two-year obligation or $129,000 over a three-year obligation. They also may qualify for a $10,000 annual Sea Duty Incentive, but those who opt for the three-year contract would be capped at $7,000 in additional annual sea duty pay, resulting in a $150,000 total.

The Navy application process ends Aug. 31. Full eligibility details are available in a July 26 Navy Administrative Message.

Navy Reserve aviators have until Aug. 26 to apply for bonuses up to $40,000 a year, and some Air Force pilots, air battle managers, and combat systems officers had until May 31 to sign up for up to $50,000 a year in retention bonuses.
