From restaurants to retailers to vacation destinations, businesses nationwide are celebrating Military Appreciation Month in May by offering a variety of deals to those who serve or have served, and their family members.

Amusement Parks/Family Outings/Vacations
*Blue Star Museums: Museums, zoos, nature centers, and other partners in the Blue Star Museums program will offer free admission for currently serving members and their families through Sept. 1. A state-by-state list of participating locations is available at this link.
Six Flags Theme Parks: Servicemembers and veterans can receive a free single-day admission ticket May 23-26, and purchase discounted tickets for up to six family members and friends. Valid ID required. Participating parks include Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor parks nationwide, California's Great America, Kings Dominion in Virginia, and more -- click here for a list of locations.
Cincinnati Zoo: Current and former military members receive free admission on Memorial Day and can purchase discounted tickets for up to six immediate family members. Military ID required. Learn more here.

Colonial Williamsburg: Servicemembers and veterans, and up to three "direct dependents," are eligible for a free single-day admission over Memorial Day weekend or Veterans Day weekend, plus discounted admission throughout the year. Learn more here.
Indianapolis Zoo: Current and former military members receive free admission on Memorial Day, in addition to $2 off general admission for up to two tickets per visit. Military ID required. Learn more here.

*National World War I Museum and Memorial: The Kansas City, Mo., museum will offer free admission to veterans and active duty servicemembers May 24-27. Learn more about Memorial Day museum events at this link.
United Parks and Resorts: Servicemembers and veterans can qualify for free admission (with up to three guests) at Busch Gardens, SeaWorld, Sesame Place, and other United Parks and Resorts properties nationwide. Programs vary by location. Click here for details on all the promotions.
Vail Resorts: Servicemembers, military retirees, and their dependents can qualify for a $185 Military Epic Pass for the 2025/2026 ski season, allowing them access to dozens of resorts across the U.S. Discounted passes are also available for veterans and their families. Learn more here.

*Pilot (Flying J): The network of travel centers will offer free weekly offers for veterans, servicemembers, and military families via their myRewards Plus app, to include free coffee and fountain drinks along with fresh pizza. Learn more about the rewards program at this link.
*Pokeworks: Servicemembers can get 20% off their orders at the fast-casual chain on May 26, both in-store and online with code MEMDAY25. Valid military ID required. Learn more here.

*7-Eleven: The convenience store chain will increase its regular 7Rewards fuel discount for military members and veterans, allowing them to save at least 15 cents per gallon. Access the offer by verifying via ID.me through the 7Rewards app.
