Amy King began her military career in 1994, enlisting in the Navy Reserve before transitioning to the Army. She served on active duty for just over 22 years as a Medical Service Corps officer and retired in 2019.
Following her military career, Amy became a financial advisor at a large firm before launching her own firm in order to more effectively focus on serving military and federal civilian families. As a veteran who was married to a federal civilian, Amy has an insider’s understanding of the challenges and benefits of the military, veteran, and federal civilian systems.
Amy is a Certified Financial Planner, Enrolled Agent, Military Qualified Financial Planner, and Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant. She is a member of the Military Financial Advisors Association, National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, and XY Planning Network.
