Do you have a strategy to pay for your child's college education?
You might need one: The average in-state student living on campus at a public institution will pay more than $27,000 per year in tuition, according to the Education Data Initiative. A student at a private, nonprofit university will pay more than double that, averaging nearly $59,000 per year.
Even if a student is entitled to Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits, parents still need a strategy – a plan to save for any remaining costs and to maximize entitlements, especially for households with multiple children looking to continue their education.
