Jimmy Santos
As MOAA’s Director of Government Relations for Currently Serving Affairs, Jimmy Santos is responsible for advocating on behalf of servicemembers who still wear the uniform (full time and part time). He works on legislative policy that protects and enhances established benefits.
 
Santos has previously served military and veteran communities while working for the City of Boston, the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, and the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career Highlights

  • Served on active duty and in the Air National Guard, and presently serves in the Air Force Reserve
  • Prior-enlisted airborne intelligence analyst with 188 combat missions in Afghanistan
  • Airman of the Year for the 97th Intelligence Squadron, the 306th Intelligence Squadron, and the 361st Special Operations Forces Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group
