By MOAA Staff
In recognition of America’s 250th birthday, MOAA is bringing back its Patriotic Photo Contest.
We’re looking for member-submitted photos highlighting you and your family’s experiences in the uniformed services. Examples might include images showcasing camaraderie, on-duty experiences, or military family homecomings.
The photo contest is open to all members of the association and their spouses, including amateur and professional photographers. The member or spouse must be the sole author/photographer and own all rights to any photo entered. Images must not have been altered in any way other than necessary burning, dodging, and cropping.
Email high-resolution photos to editor@moaa.org with the subject line “Photo Contest.” In no more than 100 words, give a title for your photo and facts about the subjects in it that might not otherwise be obvious to the viewer. Please include your name, contact information, and member number, if applicable, in the email.
Photo submissions should be at least 3,000 pixels on the longest side. Bigger is OK, but smaller might look blurry when printed.
All entries must be received by April 30, 2026. Finalists will be published in the July issue of Military Officer and will be notified of their selection.
