Retail chains, theme parks, online shopping sites, and many more businesses will feature special discounts for servicemembers and veterans, and their families, this weekend as part of America’s 250th birthday celebration.

Amusement Parks and Other Destinations
Blue Star Museums: Museums, zoos, nature centers, and other partners in the Blue Star Museums program will offer free admission for currently serving members and their families through Sept. 7. Check out a state-by-state list of participating locations.
Cincinnati Zoo: Current and former military members receive free admission on July 4 and can purchase discounted tickets for up to six immediate family members. Military ID required.
Columbus Zoo: Current and former military members can receive one free daily admission now through July 3 and can purchase up to five additional passes for 50% off. Proof of service is required; tickets must be purchased at the zoo’s main gate.
Gilroy Gardens: Servicemembers and veterans receive free admission to the California theme park July 3-5 and can purchase discounted tickets for family members.
Six Flags Entertainment: Six Flags parks, including Kings Island in Ohio, Hurricane Harbor in Texas, and Kings Dominion in Virginia, will offer free admission to current and retired military members July 3-5. Present a valid military ID at the gate for entry. Find a nearby park to see if they are offering the deal.

Retail/Grocery
Academy Sports + Outdoors: Servicemembers, veterans, and first responders can save 10% on their entire purchase (online or in-store) through July 4. Some exclusions apply. Learn how to redeem the discount.
Columbia: The outdoor gear retailer will offer a 20% discount for currently serving members, veterans, military spouses and family members, and surviving spouses through July 5.
Rack Room Shoes: Military personnel and families receive a 20% discount on in-store purchases July 4. Must present military ID at checkout.
Raley's/Nob Hill Foods: The grocery chain will offer a 10% discount on July 4 to currently serving members, retirees, veterans, and household family members. The discount is also available the first Tuesday of every month and Veterans Day.
Target: Servicemembers, veterans, and military family members receive 20% off “one qualifying storewide purchase” through July 4. You must be a verified Target Circle military member to receive the deal; verified members get additional savings year-round.
