All 178 stateside commissaries will offer delivery services by the end of September, according to a June 16 press release from the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA).

More than 70 stores already offer delivery, with the rest beginning the service in the coming weeks and months. Shoppers can learn more about their store’s delivery timeline, eligibility, and more by finding their store’s homepage at the DeCA website.

Delivery is available up to 20 miles from the commissary, with delivery fees based on distance – $17.75 for trips under 10 miles and $31.25 for customers 10-20 miles away.

Shoppers use the CLICK2GO online ordering system, which many stores already have in place for placing pickup orders. Tipping is optional, and physical coupons cannot be used as part of delivery orders (digital coupons may be applied).

More details on the ordering process, including answers to frequently asked questions and a video guide, are available on the DeCA website.

Expanded delivery service came after DeCA focus groups with a range of shoppers, many of whom listed convenience and accessibility among top priorities, according to the press release.

Shoppers with further questions about their store’s offerings – or who aren’t sure whether they have a commissary within the delivery radius – can find store contact information and locations via DeCA’s store locator page.
