MOAA Seeks Candidates for Association Executive Vice President and CFO

MOAA Seeks Candidates for Association Executive Vice President and CFO

MOAA is searching for a new executive vice president and chief financial officer (EVP/CFO), as the incumbent, Regina Chavis, will retire in April 2026.

The EVP/CFO will serve as a critical member of our executive leadership team and a strategic advisor to the CEO and board of directors. This individual operates under the general direction and guidance of the MOAA president and CEO and serves as an ex-officio member of the board.

Responsibilities include overseeing financial planning and analysis, ensuring compliance with nonprofit financial standards, managing risk, and guiding the organization’s long-term financial health and sustainability.

A candidate should have experience in a senior leadership position in one of the uniformed services, which we believe provides a unique blend of operational discipline, leadership under pressure, and financial acumen to align closely with our needs and values.

Experience in both structured environments and dynamic financial ecosystems will be invaluable as we navigate growth, innovation, and continued service to our members.
