A series of June webinars will assist retired servicemembers and other eligible federal beneficiaries with applying for dental and vision coverage, while offering additional guidance in navigating your health care budget.

The Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) is open to most uniformed services retirees, their survivors, and family members. National Guard and Reserve members, and their families, are eligible for FEDVIP vision coverage if they’re enrolled in a TRICARE plan, as are active duty family members. Full eligibility details are available from BENEFEDS.gov.

Retirees have from 31 days prior to retirement through 60 days after retirement to enroll in FEDVIP plans. After that, they need to wait until open season, which begins in mid-November. Whether you are a retiree new to the program or a federal worker seeking more details on FEDVIP or your Federal Flexible Spending Account Program (FSAFEDS) options, these upcoming free webinars from BENEFEDS will provide additional resources, to include live question-and-answer sessions:

Retirees may also benefit from an on-demand webinar covering FEDVIP plan options and more program details. The above sessions also will be offered as on-demand videos after their completion.
