TRICARE has issued 14 disaster alerts since March 1, most in the aftermath of a tornado or wildfire. During an alert, beneficiaries can secure a prescription refill by taking their prescription bottle to any pharmacy in the TRICARE network. Find a participating pharmacy via the Express Scripts pharmacy locator or by calling (877) 363-1303.

Along with updated alerts, TRICARE’s disaster information website also includes disaster-preparation advice, checklists for what to do before and after a weather emergency or other disaster, and links to relief agencies.

Reserve-component members activated during a disaster or other emergency also may see changes to their TRICARE eligibility, as TRICARE considers activation a qualifying life event. Get more information on available plans at this link.
