(Updated Aug. 27 to add Arkansas and additional Texas counties)

TRICARE emergency prescription refill procedures are in place in 10 states as of Aug. 27, allowing beneficiaries easier access to needed medication through at least the end of the month.

If residents of the affected areas cannot visit the pharmacy where they regularly obtain their prescriptions, they can take their prescription bottles to any TRICARE retail network pharmacy to secure a refill. To find a participating pharmacy, use TRICARE’s network pharmacy locator or call Express Scripts at 1-877-363-1303.
