1. Brand awareness. One of the keys to landing any position is to portray yourself as the best solution to your future employer needs. All of your self-marketing materials — cover letters, business cards, résumés, your LinkedIn profile — should align with your brand. A good brand:

  • Confirms your credibility
  • Motivates your audience
  • Generates loyalty
