Jai Salters is a native of Manhattan; after an initial naval enlistment, he was commissioned as a cryptologic warfare officer. Jai has earned several degrees, seven warfare qualifications, and was a Spirit of the Bob Hope recipient, an award presented to individuals who epitomize the values of Bob Hope: duty, honor, courage, loyalty, commitment, integrity, and selfless dedication.

He has provided educational seminars from the White House to overseas, helping members and their families with educational training and resources.
