Life transitions are wrought with emotions, and the military-to-civilian transition is no exception. Whether you are leaving service after five years or retiring after 20 years or more, it can be overwhelming, daunting, scary, and exciting ... all at once.
While all of these feelings are completely normal, they can cause confusion or paralysis. They can result in wasted time or a missed opportunity. So, what can you do to effectively manage and mitigate these feelings? How can you gain clarity, take action, be proactive, and capitalize upon your next career opportunity?
Join Cmdr. Erin Orlich Cardinal, USN (Ret), MOAA's program director for transition services and family programs and a Career Transition Certified Professional Coach (CPC), on Feb. 23 to learn how to put on a resilient mindset that will serve you throughout the ups and downs of your military-to-civilian transition (and any other life circumstance!).
MOAA Premium and Life members have access to all recorded MOAA webinars at any time via MOAA’s Webinar Archive. Want to join MOAA? See MOAA.org/join for details.
