Al Nasturzio is a highly versatile, dynamic, collaborative, and strategic leader with a proven track record of successfully leading strategic client solutions and profitable growth. As a senior executive with experience in both the private and the public sector, Al brings over 25 years of expertise in sales, operations, and training/professional development in the North American marketplace.
Al has worked in senior management and executive positions with major corporations such as SHL and Ingram Micro, as well as leading Learning and Development organizations including Global Knowledge and Canadian Management Center. Al brings not only a strong track record and commitment to training and professional development, but a genuine passion for learning. Al also brings insight into private and not-for-profit organizations having served on the boards of several organizations, including Young Navigators, Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada, and CNEA (Canadian National Exhibition Association). Al currently sits on the Board or PraArteDanza and the Curriculum Review Committee at the University of Toronto, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.
In his current role at Fortinet, Al manages the Training Institute. A global organization that includes Fortinet’s Authorized Training Center program which operates in 90 countries, the Academic Partner program with over 400 college and university partnership around the world and the Education Outreach program.
The Education Outreach Partner Program has been created with the focus on closing the cybersecurity skills gap and launching careers through diversity and inclusion. Fortinet will extend it’s reach and impact through strategic partnerships with organizations supporting groups who are under-represented in cybersecurity. These groups include women in technology, underrepresented groups, and Fortinet’s extensive veterans program.
