Wherever your transition from service takes you, MOAA’s network of councils and chapters will be there. Members of these groups are part of a range of state and local advocacy efforts, often collaborating with their Defense-State Liaison Office (DSLO).

Curious what changes to state legislation could mean for your take-home pay? Interested in veteran or spouse programs in your region, or how to get involved with local advocacy? This webinar will provide:

  • A broad overview of DSLO and its role in support of quality-of-life issues at the local/state level.
  • An introduction to the DSLO team of regional liaisons.
  • Details on how to work together with DSLO and local, like-minded groups to alleviate barriers in state policy faced by servicemembers, retirees, veterans, survivors, and their families as a result of their service.

MOAA Premium and Life members have access to all recorded MOAA webinars at any time via MOAA’s Webinar Archive. They also have access to MOAA’s Military State Report Card and Tax Guide, which looks at various state policies and what they mean for those who serve or have served, and their families.
