Capt. Robert A. Sanders, LP.D, JAGC, USN (Ret)

Dr. Sanders is a legal/national security educator, former federal government organization counsel, and private industry military communications and weapons systems engineer. He was previously a JAG Commanding Officer, U.S. Naval War College Military Law and Operations Professor, and Director, U.S. Defense Institute of International Legal Studies.

 

Dr. Sanders' corporate board service includes current service with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Rhode Island and prior service on the Rhode Island Black Heritage Society Board; and the U.S. Secretary of Defense's Recovering, Wounded, Ill and Injured Members of the Armed Forces Task Force. 

 

A MOAA and National Bar Association member, he is currently Associate Professor and Chair of the National Security Department, Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice & Forensic Sciences at the University of New Haven, Conn.
