Join us Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to noon Eastern for a two-hour tutorial on how to prepare. Topics covered will include:  

  • Calculating your Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) amount.
  • Determining whether your survivor will be eligible for Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) from the VA.
  • Understanding income as a survivor (sources and tax status change).
  • Navigating insurance options.
  • Understanding ID card requirements.
  • Preparing personal accounts and paperwork.
  • Managing online accounts and applications.
