Robert Burda currently serves as the Interim CEO for the Cybercrime Support Network (CSN). Robert leads CSN’s State, Local, Tribal and Territorial (SLTT) Reporting and Threat Information Sharing Pilot funded by CISA, working to improve cybercrime reporting and information sharing. In addition, he serves as the primary law enforcement liaison for CSN and advises the CEO on law enforcement issues.
Robert retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in 2018 as a Unit Chief at the National Joint Terrorism Task Force (NJTTF) at FBI Headquarters (HQ). He was responsible for the administration of Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) locations nationwide and the administration of multiple Counterterrorism (CT) programs housed at NJTTF.
Robert began his FBI career in the Charlotte Field Office, where he worked a variety of criminal investigations and terrorism matters until 2014, when he reported to the CT Division at FBI HQ as a Supervisory Special Agent assigned to International Terrorism Operations.
Prior to joining the FBI, Robert served in the U.S. Navy. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University.
