Jessica Richard is a Connecticut native but has lived everywhere from Japan to Germany as an active duty Air Force spouse. She has a master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and also earned her Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) designation through the FINRA Military Spouse Fellowship.
In addition to teaching accounting courses at on-base and local community colleges over the years, Richard has also served in many volunteer positions within base and spouse organizations, including roles as bookkeeper, treasurer and financial counselor. Richard began working for MOAA in October 2019 and enjoys applying her experience to an organization that understands the challenges faced by military families.
Richard and her husband, an F-16 pilot, live in Alexandria, Va., with their sons, Ben and Owen.
