Jeffrey Angers

As MOAA’s Director of Development, Fundraising, Jeff Angers leads fundraising strategy and donor engagement efforts that advance MOAA Charities’ education assistance, crisis relief, community outreach, professional development, and financial and benefits education programs in support of the greater uniformed services community.

 

In this role, Angers is responsible for cultivating donor relationships, strengthening philanthropic partnerships, and supporting signature initiatives and events that sustain and grow MOAA Charities’ mission and long-term impact.

 

Career Highlights

  • More than 38 years of service in the defense community, including 20 years on active duty in the Army; retired in 2007 as a lieutenant colonel
  • Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manpower and Reserve Affairs; principal advisor to senior DoD leadership on military and civilian personnel policy, reserve integration, quality-of-life programs, and total force manpower
  • Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Military Personnel/Quality of Life, overseeing military personnel policy, recruiting and retention, medical and health affairs, and total force quality-of-life programs
