Lt. Col. Suzanne Walker, USA (Ret), served 26 years on active duty in the Adjutant General's Corps. Her duty assignments included protocol officer for the Army Chief of Staff, aide-de-camp to the Secretary of the Army, Army Review Boards Agency, and Army Casualty and Memorial Affairs. She has extensive experience in military personnel, survivor assistance, and military family services. She retired from the Army in 2004.
Walker has a Bachelor's degree in music from Virginia State University, a Master's degree in personnel management from Central Michigan University, and a Master of Education from Old Dominion University. She also is a Certified Meeting Professional.
She joined the MOAA staff in 2004 as the executive assistant to the president and the association's meeting and conference director.
