MOAA Member Honors Fellow Veterans by Serving as Docent at Vietnam Memorial
Former Army 1st Lt. Bill Shugarts has immersed himself in veterans’ causes over the past 17 years.
Mike Morones, MOAA’s senior multimedia producer, is responsible for producing still photography and video content for the organization.
He spent 20 years working as a photojournalist at local newspapers in Virginia and Maryland as well as the Military Times publications. Most recently, he was the Director of Photography at The Free Lance-Star, a daily newspaper in Fredericksburg, Va.
His work has been recognized by the Virginia News Photographers Association, the White House News Photographers Association and the National Press Photographers Association. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University.
