Mike Morones, MOAA’s senior multimedia producer, is responsible for producing still photography and video content for the organization.

He spent 20 years working as a photojournalist at local newspapers in Virginia and Maryland as well as the Military Times publications. Most recently, he was the Director of Photography at The Free Lance-Star, a daily newspaper in Fredericksburg, Va.

His work has been recognized by the Virginia News Photographers Association, the White House News Photographers Association and the National Press Photographers Association. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University.
