Chief Warrant Officer 3 Valerie Mettler has more than years of business experience as a marketing professional in the high-tech sector and professional services, along with anti-money laundering/compliance in the commercial banking industry.

Her military career spans 17 years as both enlisted and officer, where she has served in a variety of military intelligence assignments from tactical to strategic. She recently joined the Army Active Guard Reserve in Phoenix.

She has served with several organizations, including: Joint Task Force-North, supporting law enforcement; Southern European Task Force, conducting military-to-military trainings and engagements; U.S. Central Command detachments; 79th Theater Sustainment Command; and 368th Military Intelligence. She has served in overseas assignments including: Iraq (PsyOp 2011), Qatar (SOCCENT 2014), the United Arab Emirates (SOCCENT 2019), and Mexico (JTF-N 2025). She holds an MBA from University of California, Irvine.

Hailing from the West Coast, she now resides in Tennessee. She is married and enjoys volunteering, running, adventuring in new areas, and spending time outside.
