About Our Chapter

The Military Officers Association of America, California Council of Chapters (CALMOAA) is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and an affiliate of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA). Together, we are "One Powerful Voice," dedicated to making a meaningful impact for the entire military community—including active-duty service members, retirees, and surviving spouses of all ranks

As a nonprofit organization, CALMOAA operates exclusively for the benefit of the military community and not for private gain. It is organized and administered under the California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law and the Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(19) to fulfill its mission of advocacy, support, and service.

All Officers of all the branches of the uniformed services are welcome to join our organization. Today, we have 23 chapters and more than 1,300  members in the state of California.
