Wait a minute. What does happen in Las Vegas? We’ve rounded up Sin City’s best military discounts on top shows, attractions, spa treatments, hotel stays — and even a ride to your destination — so you can find out.

Hail Caesar

Caesars Entertainment properties — including Vegas icons like Caesars Palace , Flamingo , Paris , and many others — offer military members 10-percent off your stay when you book online and click the I.D.me “Troop ID” button. (The discount is in addition to any other promotions applied.) Plus, enjoy extra savings with military discounts on dining, snacks, attractions, buffets, spa treatments, and shows when you flash your military ID. For example, active duty and retired military members get a free ride on the Eiffel Tower Experience , two-for-one tickets at Chippendales and Divas Las Vegas , 20-percent off at the Spa at The Linq and the Spa at Flamingo , and 50-percent off balcony seats to see Donny & Marie show and Legends in Concert . (That’s just a small sampling of the military discounts — find the complete list here, and scroll halfway down the page to find the “Year-Round Military Discounts”).

Life’s a cirque

Cirque du Soleil offers a hefty 35-percent discount for military members and veterans on KÀ at the MGM Grand (call 702-891-7777 — limit four) and Mystère at Treasure Island (call 866-712-9308 or 702-894-7722, or purchase in person at the box office). Discounts are not available online.

Stay on the strip or downtown

If the glitz and glamor of The Strip beckons, The Mirage (800-374-9000), Luxor (877-386-4658), and Bellagio (888-987-6667) all offer a 10-percent military discount on hotel rates. Military ID is required at check-in. Use offer code ZMILTRT. Book online, if possible, as telephone rates are higher.

Prefer the traditional Vegas experience? Head downtown. The Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas has real coin slots and offers active duty military members a 15-percent discount when you show your ID at check-in. Book online, using promo code “hero,” or call (800) 634-6575.

Get a ride

If long drives through the desert aren’t your thing and you hate airport hassles and crowded buses, Tesloop , a new city-to-city transportation company, offers military members a better way to get to Vegas. Choose from several pickup locations in the Los Angeles and Orange counties and book your trip, and you’ll ride to Vegas in comfort and style. Active duty and retired military members get a 30-percent discount. Prices depend on pickup and drop-off location, but to give you an idea, a ride between Pasadena to Las Vegas would run about $41 each way with your discount. Use coupon code “military.” Call (818) 330-6446.
