We found military offers at resorts, lodges, and cabins from the High Sierra to Shenandoah and from the Rockies to the Adirondacks.

 

California

 

Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite offers active duty military personnel and veterans a year-round 10-percent discount on room rates. The four-diamond, all-season lodge is surrounded by evergreen forest and is adjacent to Yosemite National Park. The resort offers 302 rooms, suites, and cottage accommodations; a spa; several dining options (casual to candlelit); and seasonal High Sierra activities, including ice-skating, snow shoeing, and sledding in winter and archery, mountain biking, and guided hikes in summer. Colorado

 

Resort Management Group, a vacation rental management company with more than 100 condos and homes in the Winter Park and Granby ski resort areas, offers a 15-percent military discount on nightly rates. New Hampshire

 

Purity Spring Resort and King Pine ski area in East Madison offer a Military Appreciation Ski & Stay Special through March. Active duty and retired military personnel and veterans get 25 percent off room rates plus a free upgrade based on availability. The rate includes a full country breakfast, discounted lift tickets, use of an indoor pool and fitness room, hiking/snowshoe trails, ice-skating, and Nordic skiing. New York

 

High Peaks Resort in Lake Placid offers a 15-percent discount to active duty servicemembers and veterans (regular rates start at $189). The resort overlooks Mirror Lake and is surrounded by the Adirondack wilderness with thousands of miles of trails for hiking and biking. Enjoy lake and mountain views, waterfront access, three restaurants, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center, a spa, and a salon. Virginia

 

Massanutten Resort in the Shenandoah Valley has something for everyone: an indoor/outdoor waterpark, mountain biking, zip lines, summer tubing, a day spa, and two 18-hole golf courses. Military members (active, inactive, and retired) get a 10-percent discount on lodging, including king and queen hotel rooms or one- to four-bedroom condos when you show military ID upon check-in.
