Tyler Christiansen is a veteran servicemember and senior human performance leader serving as Senior Operations Manager at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). In this role, he supports enterprise readiness and competitive strategy for DoW.
Previously, as Director of Human Performance (GS-14) for the Air Force Special Warfare Training Wing, Christiansen built and led DoD’s first Human Performance Support Group. He oversaw large-scale multidisciplinary teams, operationalized human performance across seven training pipelines, and authored foundational policy and doctrine for special warfare.
Christiansen has provided performance leadership across elite units, including the 7th Special Forces Group, a Special Mission Unit in the National Capital Region, and the Army Physical Fitness Research Institute, as well as serving as a contractor in Baghdad.
In industry, he served as Director of Government Business Development for OVAL, where he expanded federal engagement and forged strategic partnerships. Earlier, as Director of Tactical Strength and Conditioning (TSAC) at the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), he drove global program expansion, advanced international certification programs, and led product development and professional education initiatives.
A published author, international speaker, and respected subject-matter expert, Christiansen holds the CSCS,*D, TSAC-F,*D, and RSCC,*E credentials and is a past recipient of the NSCA Tactical Strength Coach of the Year award.
