Jonathan Flinn

Jonathan Flinn is an accomplished Human Performance Director and combat veteran with over two decades of dedicated experience optimizing physical, nutritional, and cognitive readiness for elite tactical athletes. Currently serving as the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Program Director for the 199th Infantry Brigade and Deputy Director for the US Army H2F Academy, he oversees a comprehensive Human Performance Team, directs federal budgeting and procurement, and leads the strategic integration of large-scale military health initiatives.

 

Flinn’s elite expertise is built on a robust foundation of military service and academic excellence. He holds a Master of Science in Exercise and Nutrition Science from Lipscomb University and a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Health Science. Serving in the Army from 2004 to 2012, he was a Squad Leader and Instructor within the elite 75th Ranger Regiment, completing four deployments to Iraq and four deployments to Afghanistan.


Following his military service, Flinn expanded his expertise into NCAA sports and academics, serving as a Performance Specialist and Adjunct Kinesiology Professor at Lipscomb University. He later returned to the military sector as a civilian Human Performance Coach for the 75th Ranger Regiment, where he famously helped design the endurance programming that led competitors to a dominant first-, second-, third-, and fourth-place sweep in the 2022 Best Ranger Competition. Combining deep technical knowledge in data-driven metrics (VO2max, body composition, and POTFF tracking) with proven federal leadership, Flinn remains a premier authority in tactical human performance innovation.
