… to the Aiken (S.C.) Chapter, which provided dinner for the families of hospitalized veterans at the Uptown VA Fisher House in Augusta, Ga., Nov. 15, 2016. We hear chapter members prepared chicken gumbo, rice, salad, bread, and cupcakes.

Well done ensuring these deserving families have a hot meal after spending a long day at the bedside of their loved ones!

… to members of the Santa Cruz (Calif.) Chapter, who assisted with the Veterans Day flag raising at Oakwood Cemetery. Chapter members helped put up and later take down 450 flags that pay tribute to the men and women who have served the nation.
