TRICARE Retiree Dental Program (TRDP)
TRDP is a voluntary dental premium-based program for uniformed service retirees and their family members. TRDP provides a comprehensive dental benefits program to include worldwide coverage for those eligible who live overseas and enroll in the Enhanced-Overseas Program.
Note: TDRP will end Dec. 31, 2018. The new DoD dental and vision programs will take over Jan. 1, 2019.
Who is eligible?
- Retired servicemembers of all ages,
- Dependents of a retired servicemember,
- Retired Guard/Reserve member in the retired Reserves (gray zone),
- Dependents of a retired Guard/Reserve member,
- Medal of Honor recipients,
- Dependents of Medal of Honor recipients, and
- Military survivors.
Features and coverage
TDRP covers an annual exam and cleaning in full. Other procedures are covered at 50 to 80 percent. There is a deductible of $50 for individuals and $150 for families. The maximum annual benefit is $1,300.Click here for details.
