Boston to Brunswick and In-Between

The Amtrak Downeasteris your car-free connection to destinations from Brunswick, Maine, to Boston, Mass. The train offers deals for military and anyone over age 62:

  • On the 11th of each month, active duty servicemembers and veterans get an $11 one-way discount. Reserve at least three days in advance and use promotion code v159.
  • Anyone over age 62 gets 50 percent off regular one-way coach fares on most Amtrak Downeaster trains (on trains 685 or 695, get a 15-percent discount). Use promotion code V543, and book in advance. The discount is not available when tickets are purchased onboard the train. It’s also not valid for business class.
