Rachel Barth, CAE

As MOAA's Magazine and Creative Director, Rachel Barth, CAE, leads a staff of artists and multimedia journalists in the production of the award-winning monthly Military Officer magazine as well as the creation of visuals for MOAA’s marketing and digital channels. She also works with the editing staff to plan the editorial calendar, strategize content, and conceptualize stories for the magazine.

Career Highlights

  • Gold Medal winner from the American Society of Business Publication Editors for the redesign of Federal Times
  • In 2018 selected to present the Military Officer redesign at the Association Media and Publishing annual meeting
  • In 2019 was an Excel Award finalist for feature design and Military Officer magazine redesign as well as a finalist for art direction, feature design and video for the prestigious Folio Ozzie awards
