Betsey Mercado has over 20 years of experience volunteering with a number of Army and military units, as well as various nonprofits. Betsey is a co-founder and executive director of the Objective Zero Foundation, a tech nonprofit focused on the social connectedness and wellness of servicemembers, veterans, their families, and caregivers.
Betsey holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in human services. She is the spouse of Lt. Col. Chris Mercado, USA, and a native of South Dakota.
