CW3 Valerie Mettler, USAR

Chief Warrant Officer Valerie Mettler hails from California where she graduated most recently with a Master’s of Business Administration from University of California, Irvine in 2017.

 

Valerie has had over twenty years of business experience as a marketing professional in the high-tech sector and professional services (engineering and construction industry), along with Anti-Money Laundering / Compliance in the commercial banking industry.

 

Chief Mettler’s military career spans 14 years as both Enlisted and Commissioned Officer, where she has served in a variety of Military Intelligence assignments from tactical to operational. She currently is part of SETAF-AF G2, Intel Control Division since May 2021.

 

She has been assigned to many organizations including: CENTCOM Detachments, 368th Military Intelligence Battalion, and 79th Theater Sustainment Command. She has also served in three overseas assignments including one tour of Iraq as part of a Psychological Operations Unit and two tours with Special Operations Central Command (SOCCENT) in Qatar and United Arab Emirates.

 

She has conducted over 15 trainings in nine countries during the past 21 months. Some of her favorite moments was managing the delivery of military intelligence trainings to include: Attack the Network, Intelligence Support to Peacekeeping Operations, Analytical All Source, Open Source Intelligence, and Geospatial Intelligence.
