Cmdr. Jeffrey Allen, USPHS

CDR Jeffrey Allen, USPHS graduated from Brigham Young University in 2002. Shortly after he was commissioned as a LTJG in the United States Public Health Service and has served on active duty since that time. Upon commissioning he was detailed to the Indian Health Service in Sacramento, California.  In 2008 he earned a Master of Civil Engineering degree from Norwich University. He enjoyed a detail with the National Park Service before returning to various roles in the Indian Health Service.

 

He is the Assistant Director of the Indian Health Service Division of Sanitation Facilities Construction Branch where he is currently assigned. He provides nationwide leadership to advance recruiting efforts and accelerate project development in response to the infusion of Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act funding allocated to the Division. Additionally, he is responsible for leading IHS efforts to enhance and improve operations and maintenance of sanitation facilities in Native American/Alaska Native communities across the country.

 

He has been a MOAA member since 2023.
