Capt. Joseph P. Marr, USA—I am seeking details about his tour in the ETO with the 511th Ftr Sqdn. He was a P-47 pilot in the Army Air Corps and was killed in action near Rennes, France, June 14, 1944. Saint Peter’s College—The Jesuit College of New Jersey is seeking information about alumni who have served honorably during any period of armed conflict, beginning with the college’s first graduating class in 1889 through present day. The college is currently in the first phase of a three-phase project that will result in erecting a memorial to alumni who: (1) were killed fighting for our country in an armed conflict in the past 107 years; (2) served in a combat area; or (3) were on active duty in the military during a period of armed conflict.
