A familiar, well-crafted 30-second commercial is an important tool to have in your career transition toolkit. It’s "YOU marketing YOU" as you share your who, what, and how in 30 to 60 seconds -- or about the time it takes to ride from the top to the bottom of a building in an elevator. Hence, the "elevator pitch." 


Join Capt. Pat L. Williams, USN (Ret), MOAA’s program director for engagement and career transition services, and learn how to craft and hone your elevator pitch. This workshop webinar includes key transition guidance and tools, practical writing tips for your 30-second commercial, and the opportunity to ask questions. You'll also have the chance to share your elevator pitch with the group and take feedback from event attendees. 


It doesn’t matter whether you’re leaving the military, remaining in a current job, or simply enjoying a relaxed life, you should always have a succinct response ready for "What do you do?" or "What are your plans?" or similar questions.
