MOAA, with support from Microsoft and Job Search Master Class, will provide 20 military spouses with a unique online program that will jumpstart their job search.

Selected spouses will receive free access to the Job Search Master Class for Military Spouses, a course run by Dana Manciagli, a former Microsoft manager who specializes in career transition and assistance.

The program, valued at $997, is part of the Microsoft's commitment to support military spouse employment and was selected as the professional job search training system for Microsoft's new Military Spouse Technology Academy pilot program.

“There is nothing available like Job Search Master Class for Military Spouses,” Manciagli told MOAA. “It was co-designed with a board of military spouses who are also career transition experts. Every lesson is customized for the dozens of challenges military spouses face, such as how to write a resume, how to explain gaps or a fragmented background, how to interview, and much more.”

As part of the online course, spouses can access training materials and job boards. The course will teach spouses how to plan for a job search process, narrow target positions, prepare resumes and cover letters, overcome biases, and perfect phone interviews, as well as improving their networking skills.

Participants sign up online and receive a unique link to a website for lifetime access to the program. You can view a demo here.
