Lawrence Mullaly

Larry is a Senior ITS Inspector with over 20 years of experience performing mapping, civil and piping design, surveying, tank farm, refineries and nuclear redesign, and pulp and transportation facility upgrades on projects throughout the U.S. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves in Southern California within military intelligence and finance units. His unit, the 326th Finance Unit, was deployed to Iraq from September 2004 to January 2006.

 

Larry began his career at Jacobs in 2014 as the Senior Designer for the Pipeline Safety Enhancement Project in Southern California. In 2018, he relocated to Arlington, Va., where he worked on Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) and platform rehabilitation projects and served as a Field Engineer. He was the eyes and ears for all disciplines on the ground during COVID and worked with Kiewit, WMATA, and Jacobs leaders to ensure the design-build project was completed on schedule.

 

In 2021, he began serving as the Virginia Department of Transportation ITS Inspector for the I-66 Out of the Beltway project, working with multiple contractors and subcontractors throughout the 23 miles of the I-66 corridor.

 

At Jacobs, Larry serves as the Global Board Membership Director for the Veterans Support Employee Network (VetNet) and is the outgoing lead for the Arlington VetNet chapter. He also serves on the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Northern Virginia Board as Assistant Treasurer and on the veterans outreach committee.

 

Larry earned an A.S. in Construction Technology from Don Bosco Technical Institute and a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. He also received an Electrical Technician Certificate from the Southern Institute of Technology.
