MOAA Spouse Community
We are here with you every step of way! We’re on the web – Find us on Facebook, Twitter, on our Family Affairs Blog, and through our monthly E-Newsletters. Also, with 410 chapters we’re probably in your backyard. We haven’t been to an event we didn’t love – tell us how we can support your pre-deployment conferences, yellow ribbon events, or spouse club meetings with advocacy or benefit information. If you are located in the Washington DC area and want to help your military community, please consider applying for our President’s Currently Serving Spouse Advisory Council.
MOAA is committed to making sure spouse employment issues and initiatives are a top priority. Every year our association plans an award-winning Military Spouse Symposia, providing knowledge, tools and events to help military spouses connect, learn more, and be inspired. Stay tuned - We could be coming to a community near you! In addition, our members and spouses enjoy a career center that can provide professional resume reviews, interview preparation, or connect you with employers at one of our corporate career fairs.
MOAA is proud to be an official partner of the Military Spouse Employment Partnership, which has facilitated the employment of over 100,000 spouses since its inception and has 335 partner companies committed to hiring military spouses. MOAA is also a member of the Military Spouse Ambassador Network, along with 21 other non-governmental organizations committed to sharing best practices and connect military spouses to employment resources wherever they live.
Through our legislative action alerts and annual Storming the Hill event, you will always know what Congress is doing for military families – and when to take action.
