Daniel Slattery was born and raised in Northern Virginia. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from James Madison University, as well as a double minor in American Studies and Music Industry.
Slattery joined the MOAA team as a Member Service Representative at MOAA in 2017. While in this role, he responded to association member inquiries on government legislation, military health benefits, and general questions related to MOAA, while also assisting on association events, including recruitment events and networking forums.
Before moving into his current position, Slattery worked in the Council & Chapter Affairs Department, beginning in October 2018. While working in this department, Slattery provided appropriate data systems and administrative support to his fellow colleagues, as well as the nearly 400 councils and chapters in the association.
