Becca Culhane is originally from Northern Virginia. As a graduate of the East Carolina University Class of 2016, she holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Communication focused in Public Relations with a minor in Sports Studies.
After college, Culhane joined MOAA as a member service representative. Within this role, she answered member questions and concerns regarding military health care, benefits and pay, attended outreach events, and supported additional MOAA staff in numerous capacities.
Culhane has worked in the Council & Chapter Affairs Department since Nov. 2018. As a chapte affairs specialist, she coordinates directly with our board, staff, and council and chapter members regarding visits, conventions, and events; receives and creates award nominations for council and chapter member recipients; assists other departments in MOAA events throughout the year, and offers additional administrative support to her fellow colleagues and the nearly 400 councils and chapters within the association.
