Maj. Lisa Dummitt, USAR

Maj. Lisa Dummitt, USAR, is currently serving as division chief for the Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) and Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) Division at Army Human Recourses Command.


She received her direct commission in 2004 and began her career with the 90th Regional Readiness Command, North Little Rock, Ark., as a Human Resources Officer. Her subsequent assignments as a Human Resources Officer include the 209th Regional Support Group in Belton, Mo., and the 326th Area Support Group in Kansas City, Kan. While assigned as the Human Resources Officer with the 326th Area Support Group, she deployed to serve as the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Officer for Victory Base Camp, Iraq.

 

After returning home she went on to serve as the Unit Mobilization Planners Course Manager and later as the Operations Officer for the Army Reserve Readiness Training Center at Fort Knox, Ky. She continued her career serving as the Mobilization Officer-In-Charge at the 335th Signal Command (Theater) in East Point, Ga., and later as a Career Management Officer with the Army Reserve Careers Division (ARCD) at Fort Knox, where she gained valuable experience managing the careers of 5,700 Army Reserve Troop Program Unit Officers.


Dummitt was nominated and selected as a Force Management Officer. After completing the Force Management Qualification and How the Army Runs courses she served as an Organizational Integrator and Manpower Requirements Officer at U.S. Army Reserve Command at Fort Bragg, N.C.


Maj. Dummitt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Ark., and a Master of Arts degree in Legal Studies from American Military University in Charles Town, W. Va.
