Maj. Joshua E. Hazel, USANG

Maj. Joshua E. Hazel, USANG, entered the active duty Air Force in 1993. He served as a Computer Systems Specialist on the E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft and deployed in support of Operation Southern Watch.

 

He enlisted in the Air National Guard in 2010 and earned his commission from the Officer Training School’s Academy of Military Science in 2012. He has deployed with the Air National Guard in support of Operation Resolute Support.

 

He is assigned to the Air National Guard’s 255th Air Control Squadron as an Air Battle Manager Mission Commander. He holds a Computer Information Systems degree from the University of Louisana and an MBA from Louisiana State University. In his civilian capacity, he is a health care technology director for a large multiprovider clinic system in Mississippi.

 

He has been a MOAA member since 2012.
