About Our Chapter

The Nassau County Chapter (FL49) is an affiliate chapter of The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA). There are approximately 90 members in the Nassau County Chapter, and 38,000 MOAA members residing in Florida, with 3,500 serving in 36 chapters across the state. The Nassau County Chapter of MOAA is a non-profit, politically non-partisan and tax exempt 501(c)(19) Veteran Service Organization, EIN: 46-5231591.

 

Membership in MOAA is open to any of those who hold or have ever held a warrant or commission in the United States Uniformed Services (Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, or the commissioned corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration – NOAA), and their Surviving Spouses.  Applicants for the Nassau County Chapter (FL49) must hold membership in MOAA National.
